The name for IKEA's newest smart home devices Eneby are square Bluetooth speakers coming in 8-inch and 12-inch sizes with removable fabric panel black and white coloring. Put into a room full of IKEA decor and products it sits and fits well amongst the minimalism.
Adding to the minimalism is the singular knob to adjust the volume of your connected device - or the eight which the Eneby is capable of connecting to. The smaller 8-inch variant of the Eneby comes with a carrying handle that suits the kind of person who carries their music around.
For added portability IKEA is also selling a portable battery pack for the Eneby that allegedly keeps it going for 8 - 10 hours. Its first venture into audio the 8-inch Eneby will sell retail for $49 which puts it into the foray of the Amazon Echo Dot and the Google Home Mini. The bigger 10-inch Eneby will sell for $89 and can be viewed on the IKEA website; though they can't be bought at the moment.
