Erskineville’s iconic Imperial Hotel aims to become a premiere destination of LGBTI weddings after a $3 million renovation.

Made famous in the film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the pub is set to introduce new facilities including a restaurant, wedding grotto and reception facility, The Daily Telegraph has reported.

Co-owner Fraser Short said the wedding grotto will be a space for weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties and engagement celebrations.
